In 1995, after joining the family business, our current Chairman Heinrich Jessen introduced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programmes to integrate environmental and safety considerations into our operations. This long-term vision culminated in 2011, when we became the first industrial company in South East Asia to achieve carbon neutrality.
